Hand pulled print dry point etching of a character filled carousel horse.

Created in response to being asked to make an artwork interpreting ‘suspension’ (loosely!). I came up with this play on words from Twitters famous “your technical support has been suspended” and its use of the cute  ‘Fail Whale’ and the birds suspending it. I was inspired to juxtapose the modern technology of Twitter and the olden day physical (and often dangerous) whaling industry and to imagine their response to this new tech….they would have literally suspended any belief!

The work is etched in a rich sepia colour.

My etching print style has often been said to be reminiscent of some of Samuel Palmers prints. This was totally organic. The work is sold professionally.
